ESCAPE comes standard with Electric Motion’s patented PRB/PELS system, which gives you the option to increase your range even further.
PRB / PELS
ESCAPE comes with the innovative Progressive Regenerative Brake (PRB) / Progressive Electronic Lever Switch (PELS) standard on the left hand lever. This system gives you the option to choose the function of the lever on the left side of the handlebars.
When PRB is enabled, the left hand lever works almost like a rear brake; pulling the lever engages the regenerative engine brake and slows the rear wheel, all while charging the battery. The farther the lever is pulled in, the more the rear wheel slows.
When PELS is enabled, the left hand lever works almost like a clutch lever, in that it allows you to quickly cut the power to the rear wheel by pulling in the lever on the left side of the handlebar. Let the lever back out, and the power picks up instantly where you left off.
Switching between PRB and PELS is as simple as removing the plastic top cover and changing the direction of the wiring plug.
HI-CAPACITY BATTERY
The extra-capacity battery on ESCAPE allows you to have more fun, longer. Boosting the range by almost 12 miles over the ESCAPE LITE model, the 2620 Wh battery in ESCAPE endures you have enough juice to do all the exploring you want.

DIGITAL DISPLAY
ESCAPE’s standard digital display shows you all the important details of your trip at a glance - Speed, Odometer, Trip Distance, Remaining Battery Charge, and current Power Map.
THREE POWER MODES
All Escape models feature a handlebar-mounted map switch that lets the ride choose from three Power Modes at the press of a button, allowing them to tailor the motor’s power characteristics for the conditions. With just a quick glance, the digital display informs the rider of the current mode selection:
1 = Low Power
2 = Mid Power
3 = Max Power
