HYDRAULIC CLUTCH
Electric Motion was the first manufacturer to offer a fully-functioning Hydraulic Diaphragm Clutch to the general public. This setup is a revolutionary advancement for the electric drivetrain , allowing the rider to perfectly modulate the motor’s power, load the suspension for big obstacles, and expertly control the rear wheel traction. The hydraulic clutch on ESCAPE “R” makes it possible to conquer obstacles and clean sections that were never possible on an electric trials bike before.
ALUMINUM TECH FORK
New for 2021 is the latest TECH ALUMINUM RACING front fork. The industry-standard for reliability and function, the new TECH fork offers the ESCAPE “R” model enhanced front-end traction and increased performance. They are supple enough to glide over roots and rocky stream beds, yet they provide plenty of pop to unload over big obstacles and are able to soak up big drops.
HI-OUTPUT MOTOR
The standard ESCAPE model is a solid performer, but the power and torque on the new 2021 ESCAPE “R” model are insane! Featuring the same motor as our potent ePure RACE, the Escape “R” has incredible torque and boosted power at Mid and High RPM. Get ready to hold on!
HI-CAPACITY BATTERY
The extra-capacity battery on ESCAPE “R” allows you to have more fun, longer. Boosting the range by almost 12 miles over the ESCAPE LITE and ePure models, the 2620 Wh battery in ESCAPE “R” endures you have enough juice to do all the exploring you want.
With the included 15A charger, ESCAPE “R” takes 4.25 hours to charge. In hurry to get back out there? Upgrade to the 25A Quick Charger to be back on the trail in just over 3 hours.
